Gary Giuffré at Saint Paul's Basilica, Rome, October 1992
Biography:
Gary Giuffré is a traditional Catholic writer, researcher, and retired artist who lives in Texas.
Since 1974, he has served as director of the non-profit Traditional Catholics of Houston, Inc., the sponsoring organization of Saint Jude Shrine Catholic Church in Stafford, Texas. He is also an accomplished artist whose professional portraits have included prominent actors, celebrities, and public figures.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Giuffré has conducted extensive research into the 1958 papal conclave. His work advances what is commonly known as the “Siri Thesis," the claim that Cardinal Giuseppe Siri was validly elected pope in 1958 before being overthrown by influential, illicit, and anti-Christian forces within the secrecy of the conclave.
While critics have attempted to discredit the Siri Thesis as a conspiracy theory, proponents of Giuffré's research are growing in number, with several notable figures publicly expressing support.*
Drawing on decades of research, Giuffré has compiled his findings in The Plot Against the Pope: Coup d’État in the Conclave, or TPATP for short, an earth-shattering book that will uncover the truth about what really happened to the Catholic Church after the death of Pope Pius XII, the events leading up to Vatican II, and why what appears to be the Catholic Church has never looked the same since.
